Bikeability Tour & Showdown

Join Councillor Cressy and Councillor Layton on June 9 from 1-4PM as they take you on a group bike ride through their wards and square off in the fierce showdown to see who has the more bikeable ward.

They fight hard to make Toronto a more bikeable, healthy, and thriving city. Now, Councillor Joe Cressy and Councillor Mike Layton will face off in the ultimate showdown to see who has the more bikeable ward.

Come ride with us to explore bikeable routes and meet city councillors who are passionate about creating safe routes and a healthy city for you.

This family-friendly event is open to riders of varying cycling skills and levels – as long as they can balance on a bike.

1 p.m. – Introduction (meet at Dan Leckie Way and Queens Quay)
1:15 p.m. – Group ride
3 p.m. – Votes and Awards Ceremony at Real Thailand Restaurant,
570 Bloor St. W. (a few doors west of Bathurst)

Light refreshments will be served. Please register so that we can make sure we have enough food:).

This event is hosted by volunteers from the Cycle Toronto Wards 19 and 20 Advocacy groups.

Pledge to ride to school or work on Bike to Work Day, Monday May 27 and/or throughout June for a chance to win one of three trips for two courtesy of VIA Rail (to Quebec City, Montreal or Ottawa) or a weekend getaway courtesy of Welcome Cyclists. Contest closes June 18.
