Allen Greenway Section of the Northwest Cultural Trail
The Allen Greenway is a proposed three km long linear park/Privately Owned Public Space along the west and east side of Allen Road between Highway 401 and Eglinton Avenue West. It is secured in the Lawrence Allen Secondary Plan. See:

The Greenway is a section of the proposed 25 km long Northwest Cultural Trail from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre to the Jack Layton Ferry Docks. See:

Learn about recently installed public art, the implementation of park master plans, Yorkdale Shopping Centre redevelopment and Greenway, new affordable housing, proposed new parks, art and accessibility improvements to four subway stations, the Lawrence Heights revitalization plan including a new community centre, Little Jamaica Cultural District Plan and other planning studies in the area, and planned connections to the 9 km long York and Kay Gardner Beltline Parks.
We will be cycling 12 km from Yorkdale subway station to Bloor Street West and Bay Street. Earlier cut out possible at several TTC subway stations along the way.
If you don’t have a bike the nearest Toronto Bike Share Stations are at the west side of Marlee Avenue south of Roselawn Avenue, Viewmount Park, and Glencairn subway station.
Look for tour leader with grey cycling helmet with bike pin.
