Allen Greenway Bike Ride

This event has already taken place.

A leisurely 10 km bike ride on Allen Greenway between Yorkdale Road and Eglinton Avenue West. The Allen Greenway is an evolving linear park/open space system on both sides of the Allen Road in North York. It was secured in the Lawrence Allen Secondary Plan and eventually will have a multi use trail. See:

It is currently a combination of multi use trails in parks, bike lanes, and on street routes. It also overlaps with the proposed Northwest Cultural Trail:

We will discuss development applications along the route that provide the opportunity to upgrade sections of the trail to multi use paths.

We will be adhering to all Toronto Public Health's COVID-19 guidelines. We ask all participants to practice physical distancing while in attendance.

Be sure to dress for the weather, and we recommend bringing your own water bottle and snacks for the ride.
