Cycle Toronto, in collaboration with the Women's Cycling Network, Scarborough Cycles, and the Africa Climate Action Initiative, is hosting their first Advocacy Forum of the year! Featuring community leaders from Women’s Cycling Network, Hijabs and Helmets, and the Rexdale Women’s Center, this forum is for anyone who wants to learn more about grassroots efforts taking place across the city to encourage more people to get on their bikes, beyond advocating for safer roads.

Date: June 28

Time: 5-6PM*

We will start promptly at 5, so please arrive by 4:45

Location: Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute library (50 person seating limit - RSVP on this page required)

Zoom: RSVP Here

Who are the Panelists?

We will be hearing from Najia Zewari from the Women's Cycling Network, Nazia Asadullah, co-lead of the Hijabs and Helmets program, and Kwame Anane-Frempong, programmer and bike-hub coordinator at the Rexdale Women’s Center. They have all made significant strides in their respective spaces to encourage more people to take on active modes of transportation, building towards a more self-reliant, sustainable city.
