Laid Back Canada Day Recumbent/Velomobile Waterfront 2nd Annual Ride

This event has already taken place.
This event is not yet approved, and is not yet viewable.

On Canada Day, let's help celebrate all types of bicycles and cycling as the most efficient form of zero-emission, sustainable mobility. City cyclists and recreational riders on any type of bike are invited to ride with Toronto's laid back riders on recumbent bikes, trikes, and in velomobiles -an ultra-efficient type of human-powered vehicle!

The Toronto Bike Meetup first did this group ride event in 2022. Check out the event posting and photos. TBM will do it again this year and the event has been crossposted to this group.

Meet and greet at 1pm in front of the Princes' Gates. Depart by 1:30pm, ride through Exhibition Place and then along Toronto's western portion of the Waterfront Trail to Humber Bay Shores Park for a picnic and social. (No alcohol or cannabis during the event.) Then, around 2:30pm, optionally return ride along the same route to the starting point around 3pm.
