Greater Sudbury's Bike to Work Group Rides
Bike Month in Greater Sudbury, an annual celebration of cycling, will begin on Wednesday, June 5th, with a group ride to Tom Davis Square at Sudbury’s City Hall.
Cyclists can join the group ride at one of five starting points across the city and ride to Tom Davis Square for a celebration hosted by the City Greater Sudbury. Each of the five official group rides will have at least two cycle guides to ensure riders stay on course and arrive safely.
The five-official meet-up points and start times are:
West: Mary St and Glover Ave (Delki Dozzi Skate park) at 7:30 a.m.
Flourmill: Thomas Street and Notre Dame Ave (Overtime Sports Bar Notre Dame) at 7:30 a.m.
New Sudbury: Lasalle Blvd and Auger St (Boss Supplements) at 7:20 a.m.
Minnow Lake: Levesque St and Kingsway (Tim Hortans) at 7:15 a.m.
South End: Oriole Drive (Oriole Park) at 7:10 a.m.
Bike Month Celebration at Tom Davies Square
Join us at Tom Davis Square Court yard from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for a Grab and Go Breakfast, Commuter Café and a formal proclamation from the Mayor to kick off the festivities.
